Last month rumors were swirling that Matt Damon’s former “Good Will Hunting” co-star and ex-girlfriend Minnie Driver was due to give birth to her first baby this summer. While the actress’ camp remains mum about the news, the New York Post has decided to spread the good word claiming the rumor is indeed fact and reports its “spies” recently spotted Driver and a friend outside a Los Angeles-area doctor’s office looking at sonogram pictures.
The 37-year-old star of “A Socialite’s Life” is reportedly keeping the identity of the father under wraps, though some tabloids are saying that Driver’s current English boyfriend is the lucky chap who will make the actress a first time mom by late summer.
Again, Driver’s rep again refused to comment about the baby “rumor,” but we’re all too familiar with that routine.
Other stars who aren’t shy about announcing additions to their families include Law & Order: Criminal Intent’s Vincent D’Onofrio. The 48-year-old actor and his wife of 10 years, Carin Van Der Donk, welcomed their second son on Valentine’s Day. The new baby joins 8-year-old big brother Elias Gene. D’Onofrio also has a 15-year-old daughter, Leila George, with his ex-wife, Greta Scacchi.
Meanwhile, 29-year-old actor Jason Biggs and his fiancée, 28-year-old actress Jenny Mollen, are reportedly expecting their first child together this summer. The couple has been dating for six months and got engaged a few weeks ago. The “American Pie” star is said to be “thrilled” about becoming a dad.
Professional skateboarder Tony Hawk is also adding to his brood. The 39-year-old father of three boys is expecting his first daughter with his current wife Lhotse. The new baby, due in June, will be the couple’s first child together.
Finally, you can cross Jenny McCarthy’s name off the list of pregnant celebs. The actress, who is still dating actor Jim Carrey, says the rumor that she is expecting another child is just that. McCarthy already has a son, Evan Joseph, 5, from her previous marriage to John Asher. She and Carrey have been dating since 2005.
