Don’t believe the rumors: Rihanna and pro basketball star Andrew Bynum are not sitting up in a tree k-i-s-s-i-n-g. In fact, the Los Angeles Lakers player claims that he barely knows the “Umbrella” hitmaker.
Rumors started flying last weekend when the pair was spotted leaving a restaurant together.
The singer, who is reportedly taking a break from her bruiser of an ex, Chris Brown, was alleged to have enjoyed a romantic date with the handsome athlete, but the sportsman has dismissed the claims.
When asked by TMZ.com if he and Rihanna are dating, Bynum flatly replied, “No!”
Moving on…
Apparently, the rumors that Uma Thurman planned to wed her billionaire fiance Arpad Busson over the weekend, turned out to be false.
The couple was reported to have exchanged vows in a private ceremony on the island of Eleuthera on Saturday. However, a rep for the Kill Bill actress, dismissed the story, telling E! Online, “Uma did not get married.”
The pair has been engaged since June 2008.
When the actress and her Swiss financier fiance finally do make it down the aisle it will be Thurman’s third marriage. She previously wed (and subsequently divorced) actors Gary Oldman and Ethan Hawke.
Next, “The Early Show” host Julie Chen didn’t overeat during Easter Sunday brunch.
According to the TV journalist, she is pregnant with her first child. The “Big Brother” host is married to CBS president Les Moonves, who has three grown children with his ex-wife.
Thirty-nine-year-old Chen is due on October 4th.
Chen and Mooves have been married for five years.
Finally, Ellen Pompeo and her husband, Chris Ivery, are also starting a family together.
The “Grey’s Anatomy” star and her music producer husband were married in an intimate New York City wedding ceremony in November 2007 after four years of dating.
The 39-year-old mom-to-be is reportedly thrilled.
The baby will be the first child for Pompeo and her 41-year-old hubby.
