Personally, I don’t find it a bit newsworthy that Elle Macpherson has found love again.
NEWSFLASH: Super hot supermodel hooks up with a multi-millionaire!
In other news… the sky is blue.
The catwalk beauty has found another guy to worship her… SHOCKER!
Still, for some reason Australian and British newspapers feel the need to fill their columns with details of Macpherson’s new romance with Damian Aspinall.
When hasn’t Macpherson been involved with someone?
She was previously married to Gilles Bensimon and engaged to French financier Arpad Busson, who fathered her two sons. Then, late last year the 44-year-old sexpot was said to be dating NBC legal analyst Dan Abrams, who has now been linked to actress Renee Zellweger. (But, that’s a whole other blog.)
Incidentally, Aspinall has had an equally busy social life. He was previously in a six-year relationship with British TV presenter Donna Air, and shares a five-year-old daughter with her. He also has two daughters from his first marriage.
OPRAH’S NEW MOVIE
Oprah Winfrey is teaming up with Tom Hanks to turn her latest Book Club choice into a new movie.
The queen of talk introduced TV viewers to David Wroblewski’s The Story of Edgar Sawtelle last year and now reports say she has signed a deal with Universal and Hanks’ Playtone company to produce the movie adaptation.
Winfrey told reporters that she plans to honor the book in every way, shape and form.
“It’s something I’ve never done before out of all the books I’ve ever done, I’ve always chosen to stay out of the movie making process,” Winfrey told reporters.
HEATHER MILLS’ NEW CASH COW
Apparently, the $36 million she got from divorcing Paul McCartney isn’t enough for Heather Mills.
According to reports, the former Beatle’s ex is now charging up to $102,000 to speak at public functions. Mills also reportedly charges a minimum of $6,800 to make personal appearances on the party circuit and sometimes charges up to $16,400 for 15 minutes.
In regards to her hefty prices Mills’ agent told reporters, “Heather is the best example of turning the most negative of situations into the most productive.”
And the most profitable.
