Sting’s Daughter Seriously Hurt and Rodman Heads for Rehab

Sting’s 18-year-old daughter is proving that bad things can happen at any time.

Coco Sumner is reportedly recovering from what some are calling a “freak accident,” that left her with a fractured skull and other serious injuries.

According to reports, the teenage daughter of award-winning singer Sting remains in the intensive care unit at an L.A. hospital after collapsing at an area restaurant last week. Witnesses say Coco was sharing a meal with friends when she took a tumble in the eatery and hit her head on a chair as she fell to the ground.

A source tells a British newspaper, “One of the waiters helped her to her feet but she complained that she didn’t feel well.”

Restaurant staff members reportedly called for an ambulance and Coco was taken to the hospital. Reports say Sting, who is currently working in the U.S., rushed to his daughter’s bedside, while his wife, Trudie Styler, flew in from London.

Witnesses say Coco hadn’t had anything to drink, so alcohol was not a factor in the fall. Still, the teen remains hospitalized and is being monitored closely.

Meanwhile, former pro basketball star Dennis Rodman is reportedly headed for a hospital too. Though, the reason for his stay has more to do with a fall of another sort.

According to reports, the athlete turned reality TV star has finally agreed to be institutionalized to treat his long-running battle with alcohol addiction.

Rodman is reportedly set to enter a famous rehab facility in the United States AFTER he attends a reunion party with his fellow “Celebrity Apprentice” contestants on Sunday.

The keyword here being “AFTER.”

You didn’t think Rodman would allow his fellow castmates party without him, did ya?

Rodman’s rep says the former Chicago Bull decided to seek help for his addiction after friends, including his former Los Angeles Lakers coach Phil Jackson, convinced him it was in his best interest to do so.
