Summer doesn’t technically start for another month, but some hot celebrity mamas are already heating up Hollywood and adding to the planet, including Olympic gold medallist Kerri Walsh.
The smoking hot pro beach volleyball player gave birth to an 8 lbs. 10 oz baby boy yesterday in Los Angeles. Walsh and her husband, AVP pro-volley ball player Casey Jennings, named their first born, Joseph Michael Jennings.
The couple reportedly conceived their son while Walsh was competing in the Beijing Olympics last summer.
In other baby news, actor Chad Lowe and his girlfriend, producer Kim Painter, join Walsh and Jennings in the new parents club.
The couple’s daughter Mabel Painter Lowe made her debut last week in Los Angeles, according to Lowe’s rep.
The 41-year-old Emmy winner announced Painter’s pregnancy in January. He and Painter have dating since January 2007. Mabel is the first child for the pair.
Finally, Sarah Jessica Parker is speaking out about the surrogate mom, who is carrying her twins, and the news isn’t good.
Parker tells TV’s “Access Hollywood” that photographers are endangering her surrogate’s safety.
“On a daily basis, on an hourly basis, I am greatly concerned for her health and safety and the safe delivery of our children,” Parker told “Access Hollywood” earlier this week.
Parker says she worries that the media attention could spark an early labor for the surrogate. The actress wouldn’t say where the surrogate is living now, but reports claim the divorced single mother from Ohio is now residing in an undisclosed location and will remain there until she gives birth to Parker and husband Matthew Broderick’s daughters next month.
Parker also dished that the surrogate’s computer has been hacked into, photographers have tried to run her off the road, and that her home was damaged, in the days following the announcement that she was carrying the famous couple’s babies.
No word on whether the surrogate is asking Parker to foot the bill for the added emotional strain she is currently enduring.
