PetCo is a nationwide chain that sells pet food, pet supplies, and, of course, the pets that use them. Pet owners can go here to stock up on supplies whether they have a dog, a cat, a rabbit, a bird, or a goldfish. This Summer, PetCo has two really interesting deals going on. One involves aquariums, and the other could win you a some nice, big, gift cards.
Right now, PetCo has an awesome sale on fish tanks. If I remember correctly, they had a sale like this one going on last Summer, too. Purchase a brand new fish tank, and pay just one dollar per gallon on it. This means ten gallon fish tanks are only $10.00. If you have had your eye on one of those really huge aquariums, now might be a great time to buy it.
The sale is going on for a limited amount of time. It will end on July 16, 2011, which gives you about three weeks to take advantage of it. You must go into one of the physical PetCo stores, and not make your purchase from their website if you want to shop this sale. You can choose from fish tanks that are 10G, 20H, 20L, 29G, 40B or 55G tanks.
While you are there, this is the perfect time to pick up a filter system, some gravel, cute decorations for the tank, and a decorative paper scene to wrap across the back of it. I would recommend setting up your fish tank at home and letting it run for a while before adding fish into it, for best results. Ask a PetCo worker to explain that to you if you have never had fish for a pet before.
If you go to the PetCo Facebook page you can enter their Summer Adventure Sweepstakes. Winners are selected weekly, and I believe that the sweepstakes is going to last for the entire Summer.
To enter you need to watch a pet travel safety video from Toyota, and then answer a few trivia questions about the video. One of the people who has answered each question correctly will win a $250.00 PetCo Gift Card, and a $250.00 Gas Card.
If you are someone who likes to take your pet with you when you drive, this can be an extremely useful prize. Fill up your tank with the Gas Card.
