This summer, movie theaters are offering all sorts of deals for kids’ movies shown usually on Tuesday or Wednesday morning. They are usually older movies, but kids don’t care. If their favorite characters are on the big screen, they are happy.
At 10am on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, Regal Entertainment Group is offering a Free Family Film Festival. For nine weeks, families can attend free G and PG movies like Shrek the Third, The Bee, and Charlotte’s Web. The website lists each theater’s schedule. The festival starts June 10, 2008.
Bookworm Wednesdays starts up on June 25th at the National Amusement theaters across the country. Each child gets into the Wednesday kids movie for free when they bring a book report with them. I love this idea. Since we don’t have any of these theaters near us, maybe I will insist on my daughter writing a book report before we head out to the movies. Children under six and accompanied adults don’t need book reports to get in for free.
The AMC Summer Movie Camp starts June 25, 2008 at 10am. They will play G and PG movies. Admission is only $1.00 and a special AMC kids pack will be available for $3.00. It will include a child size popcorn, drink, and snack. The admission will go to a variety of children’s charities.
The Cinemark Summer Movie Clubhouse starts up June 10th. Punch cards can be purchased for $5.00 and they will get you into 10 Clubhouse movies or you can buy a ticket the morning of the show for $1.
Here’s a new freebie your toddler will enjoy: Juicy Juice is giving away a free sippy cup when you register at their website. Since we are always losing sippy cups in our house, one more can’t hurt. There’s also a printable $1 coupon for the new Harvest Surprise Juice on the website too.
