Super Mom Snooki

left

Be afraid. Be very afraid.

Rumors have been swirling for weeks, and now it appears that MTV’s resident smoosher is planning to go public with news that she’s got a mini meatball baking in her oven.

Snooki, whose real name is Nicole Polizzi, is reportedly expecting her first child with…

Well, isn’t that the million-dollar question?

Okay, maybe not.

But, the 24-year-old reality TV star is said to be raking in at least that much when she reveals her pregnancy and the ID of her baby daddy on her new MTV show– that’s not “Jersey Shore.”

Snooki and fellow “Jersey Shore” castmate Jenni “JWOWW” Farley just started filming their own spin-off show, and according to the New York Post, Snooks has been muzzled by MTV because the network wants to break the baby news on the show, though rumor has it that she recently struck a deal with US Weekly to confirm her pregnancy.

A source told the New York Post: “MTV is trying to hide [Snooki’s pregnancy] because it would greatly affect the creative direction of the show.”

Apparently, MTV also wants Snooki to hold off id-ing the guy who helped her spawn her burgeoning bambino.

Allegedly Snooki has boyfriend Jionni LaValle to thank for providing her with a one-way ticket to motherhood.

Ah, sweet motherhood.

It’s a sorority that many of Snooki’s fans have a hard time seeing her pledge.

Can you blame them?

After all, this is the same shore sister who has climbed the ranks of reality TV stardom for being a “sloppy, smooshy drunken idiot.”

That’s TMZ.com’s description of the mom-to-be.

Interestingly, the website did some digging, and by digging, I mean they paid some of Snooki’s friends to spill the beans on the MTV star and reportedly found out that she’s actually taking her pregnancy “very seriously.”

Sources tell TMZ that ever since Snook discovered she spawned a future guido she has been telling her peeps that she has the potential to be “mother of the year.”

Now that’s something I would pay to see.

What do you think? Does Snooki have what it takes to transform into Super Mom?
