Fall Crafts: Three-D Tree Project

Yay! This project doesn’t involve finger paints, or paint of any kind! Just as much fun but a lot less mess, so it’s as mom-friendly as it is kid-friendly. Well, there is still glue involved and it is a little messy, but not nearly as bad as dabbling in paint! This time, you’re going to make a tree first, and not just any tree. Craft Ideas: Make a 3-D Cookie Jar

This idea works great for an everyday cookie jar or special ones for holidays. You can make them for home, or for use when giving away home baked holiday cookies. Items Needed: Large plastic coffee can with lid (Folgers cans work great) Craft foam or sheets of thin Styrofoam Craft paint Paintbrush Scissors Glue Clip art or other images Stencils or letter decals Ribbon (optional) How to: Start by making sure the coffee can is clean and dry.
