He was best known in my family as Alice’s butcher boyfriend on “The Brady Bunch,” but you might remember Allan Melvin as Archie Bunker’s neighbor on “All in the Family.” Regardless of his previous roles, family, friends and fans of Melvin are mourning his loss.
