I don’t know if you have seen the recent ads for Microsoft, but it involved Bill Gates and Jerry Seinfeld. I was in the computing field back when Bill Gates was just another name in the industry, but I’ve always had an opinion of him. Although horribly successful in his field (as is Apple co-founder Steve Jobs), I’ve always imagined that Bill had to be a total geek to do all he’s done. Apple Camp – Free Summer Workshops for Kids

Yes, that’s right. FREE. Apple is offering summer workshops for kids at their Apple stores. They’re intended for children 8-12, but open to older children, too. Children can choose from a Podcast Workshop, iWeb & iPhoto Workshop, Music Workshop, or a Movie Workshop. We’re PC users, but the process for Movies is similar. So we’ll be driving the 100 minutes to our closest Apple store in the beginning of July for a course on how to make online movies.
