Who’s dissing whom? Legendary performer Barry Manilow says he is snubbing the ladies of “The View.” Specifically, Elisabeth Hasselbeck. Oh, there’s just never a dull moment on that daytime chatfest. Okay, it’s not official, but several news outlets are reporting that the bigwigs over at ABC’s daytime chatfest “The View” have finally chosen two females to fill in the empty seats at the “Hot Topics” table. According to the Los Angeles Times, Whoopi Goldberg and Sherri Shepherd are about to hop into the hot seats. A formal announcement by show creator Barbara Walters is expected next week. “Dancing with the Stars” fans rejoice—ABC is trying to capitalize on America’s dance fever by spinning-off the popular show. According to TV insiders, the network is developing another dance-themed show starring “Dancing with the Stars’” judges Bruno Tonioli and Carrie Ann Inaba. The new project is reportedly based on the BBC series, “Dance X,” where big wigs in the music industry choose singers and dancers for a new musical troupe.
