Celeb Updates: Paris’s Least Favorite Color and Rosie’s Staying Put

Can you guess what it is? That’s right—-prison orange. According to her mother, Paris is “sick of orange.” But other than that Kathy Hilton says her daughter is doing well and is looking forward to being released from jail tomorrow. “I think she’s very, very excited to see the family,” the heiress’ mother told reporters on Saturday. Ma Hilton added that the party-girl was also looking forward to getting out of her orange prison uniform. Rosie O’Donnell has made it no secret that she wants to replace Bob Barker on “The Price Is Right.” What she may not have realized is that she isn’t the only big name in Hollywood that has secretly pined to fill Barker’s shoes. Believe it or not Paris Hilton has almost completed her debt to society (well, at least for driving with a suspended license). In less than 60 hours the hotel heiress will be sprung from the slammer… and then the real (media) circus will begin. For weeks rumors have been circulating about who will fill Rosie O’Donnell’s large shoes on ABC’s daytime chatfest “The View.” Media front runners (their names have tossed around by the press, not by “View” execs) include Kathy Griffin, Whoopi Goldberg and Sherri Shepherd – all of whom have regularly filled in as guest co-hosts in recent weeks. DUH! Gee, ya think? It seems the youngest member of “The View” is finally speaking out about her current relationship with former co-host Rosie O’Donnell. Michele and I have written many blogs about Bob Barker ending his successful run on “The Price is Right.” After all, as Bob has said, he is 83 and wants to retire before he gets too old.
