It has been a bizarre week for pop culture, even by Hollywood standards. Here are a few of the things that have happened: Brittany Murphy’s Husband Found Dead Simon Monjack, widower of Brittany Murphy, was found dead Sunday night at the couple’s home in Hollywood. Right now, officials are saying the 39-year-old Monjack died of natural causes, but there will be an investigation. Brittany Murphy Ties The Knot

Turns out the rumors are true. Several media outlets were abuzz Saturday when actress Brittany Murphy showed up at Kentucky Derby sporting a huge rock on her left hand. However, the star refused to confirm that she had indeed tied the knot with Simon Monjack, the British director who worked with her on her latest project. Now, the 29-year-old is spilling the beans.
