It’s interesting the way things interconnect. The other day I was reading a novel by Lynne Griffin called Life without Summer. You’ll get some interesting insights about marriage and the way grief affects marriage in this novel. Since the author has been involved in family and social work, I’d suggest it is based on a certain amount of experience and knowledge of the subject. As you know if you have been reading the Pop Culture blogs, there seems to be trouble in the Madonna/Guy Ritchie marriage. Michele blogged that Madonna has reportedly been seeing Paul McCartney’s divorce lawyer despite Guy’s mum saying all the rumors are much ado about nothing. Wow, what a busy week it has been for celebrity splits and marriages. First, there was the news that Jodie Foster split from her long time partner Cydney Bernard. Then, Cynthia Nixon, who had not talked about her lesbian relationship until recently, said she wanted to marry girlfriend Christine Marinoni. Now there is another lesbian couple that claims they want to get married. Bobby Brown Tells All

And, I can only imagine what a tale it is! Singer bad boy Bobby Brown, formerly Mr. Whitney Houston, has decided to write a tell-all book about he and Whitney’s rocky marriage. Titled “The Truth, the Whole Truth, and Nothing but the Truth,” Bobby makes such claims as the fact that he never used cocaine until after her met Whitney. He goes on to say marijuana was his drug of choice, but after marrying Whitney in 1992, he did every drug he could get his hands on, including heroin and cocaine. Chan Banned, Spice Married, and Damon is Money

Jackie Chan Banned! The highly popular Chinese star has seen his current film banned in China. Rush Hour 3 just opened, but the Chinese will not be seeing it. There is a scene in the film in which an organized crime family visits Paris. Of course, I am not talking the Sopranos here, but the Chinese organized crime family known as the Triads. This angered Chinese authorities, but the Film Bureau insists that is not the reason for the ban. They say they are blocking the release of the film for another reason. Tiger Had a Daughter Tiger Woods and his wife, Elin Nordegren just welcomed their first child Monday, a daughter named Sam Alexis. Tiger reported that both mom and daughter are doing well and resting. The big news of his daughter’s birth comes less than 24 hours after a second place finish in the U.S. Open (which was won by Angel Cabrera).
