Charlie and the Christmas Kitty

If your children asked for, but didn’t receive the puppy or kitten they placed on their wish list to Santa, this book might work as a consolation present. Maybe. Sure, Charlie and the Christmas Kitty may be a far cry from an adorable tail-wagging, face-licking bundle of fluff that would follow your child around the house and potentially run for help should he fall down a well, but, hey, Santa’s not perfect. Still, you can’t deny the cuteness contained in this festive holiday read, even though the story’s clueless main character doesn’t realize it’s Christmas: “Why is there a … Continue reading

Charlie Sheen Resurfaces

We haven’t heard much from the old Vatican Assassin lately, but in my opinion, love Charlie Sheen though I do, that has been a good thing. However, this week, he’s been back with a mellower, calmer vengeance. Sheen was a presenter at the 63rd Emmy Awards last Sunday night. As he walked on stage, you could almost hear Hollywood holding its breath. Would he make an idiot out of himself as he has so many times in the past year? Would he rant and rave at Chuck Lorre or someone from “Two and a Half Men?” Would he physically attack … Continue reading

Denise Richards Adopts and Charlie Sheen Pays

Actress Denise Richards is hearing the pitter patter of little feet, but it is not from her baby-daddy, ex-husband Charlie Sheen. Richards has announced that she just adopted a child born domestically. New daughter Eloise Joni joins the daughters Lola, 6, and Sam, 7, Richards had with Sheen. Richard’s rep said that new daughter “Eloise Joni Richards is named after Denise’s mom (Joni), and Denise and her daughters Sami and Lola chose the name Eloise.” The rep went on to say that “Denise and Eloise’s big sisters couldn’t be happier and feel incredibly blessed.” At least Sheen can thank his … Continue reading

Sorry, Charlie!

There once was a fish named Charlie. He was the best pseudo puppy that a 6-year-old girl could ever have… until the girl’s mother got sick of cleaning Charlie’s tank. Scratch that. Until the girl’s mother got sick from cleaning Charlie’s tank. I’ve been sick for weeks with an on and off fever, headache, sore throat and fatigue. Interestingly, my symptoms appeared shortly after my routine cleaning of Charlie’s fish tank. That Betta can gunk up a bowl like no other, and frankly, I dread the task of scooping him out and scrubbing down his disgusting liquid-filled living quarters week … Continue reading

Charlie’s Officially Out and Arnold Did WHAT?

Well, you may have heard the news by now, but CBS has officially announced that Ashton Kutcher will be Charlie Sheen’s replacement on “Two and a Half Men.” Sheen had maybe jokingly, maybe not pleaded for his job back during his one man train wreck, eh, tour. A friend has said Sheen is “destroyed” that he has been replaced and so quickly. Publically, Sheen has tweeted his best to Ashton and said CBS got the right guy. However, he later tweeted, “Kutcher is a sweetheart and a brilliant comedic performer … Oh wait, so am I!! Enjoy the show America, … Continue reading

Charlie Sheen’s Not Winning Anymore…or is He?

The Charlie Sheen crazy train continues to roll. In a previous blog, I had comment on how his first “My Violent Torpedo of Truth/Defeat is not an Option” tour show did not go well. Detroit booed him, but he tweaked the show a bit and Chicago loved him. The crowd even chanted “Detroit Sucks.” Then, he went to Radio City Music Hall in New York City. The actor was 30 minutes late, yet he still got a standing ovation upon arrival. But, somewhere along the way, things went wrong – terribly wrong. His 90 minute show ended up only lasting … Continue reading

Charlie Sheen Flops…then Prevails!

Charlie Sheen kicked off his “My Violent Torpedo of Truth./Defeat is not an Option” tour this weekend and apparently it was either a horrible flop or a smashing success, depending on which show you saw. The first night of Sheen’s tour was in Detroit and by all reports, it did not go well. All 4,700 seats of the Fox Theater were sold out, but the warm up comedian, Kurt Fox, failed to work up the crowd. He was booed so much that Sheen had to come out and calm them down. Sheen brought out the goddesses (Bree Olsen and Natalie … Continue reading

Reese is Married, Jackie is Alive, and Charlie is Quiet

Reese Witherspoon is officially off the market. Witherspoon and her boyfriend, Hollywood agent Jim Toth, married last Saturday at her ranch estate in Ojai, California. Witherspoon, 35, began dating Toth, 40, in February 2010 and the couple became engaged last December. Witherspoon, who was previously married to actor Ryan Phillippe, wore a pale pink Monique Lhuillier gown with Jimmy Choo platform sandals while Toth wore a Rag & Bone suit. Also in attendance at the ceremony and reception were Witherspoon’s children (Ava and Deacon), Sean Penn and Scarlett Johansson, Tobey Maguire, Robert Downey Jr. and wife Susan, and Alyssa Milan … Continue reading

The Overexposure of Charlie Sheen

I have been quite disturbed about something lately. It is the constant media coverage surrounding Charlie Sheen. As if this world doesn’t have enough disturbing things going on that we need to concern ourselves with the likes of Charlie. Apparently Mr. Sheen has also set the Guinness World Record for the fastest time to reach 1 million followers on Twitter. We seriously have 1 million people following this guy? I guess what mostly disturbs me about the situation is the attention being drawn to his questionable lifestyle and his crazy remarks. Teens are well aware of the influence he has … Continue reading
