Axl Rose of Guns N’ Roses Calls Out Dr. Pepper

I was surprised that the new Guns N’ Roses CD Chinese Democracy came out before I died of old age. You would think Axl Rose, the only remaining member of the original Guns N’ Roses, would be in a good place right now. After working on “Chinese Democracy” for 14 years, Rose seems to have done the impossible – garnered decent reviews on an album whose expectations were naturally overblown. But, happy he is not. Dr. Pepper Makes Good on Its Chinese Democracy Promise

It’s not that everyone hasn’t has faith that Guns N’ Roses leader Axl Rose would eventually produce his long promised Chinese Democracy album. Well, okay, maybe it was. Axl, the lone survivor of the original Guns N’ Roses band, has been working on Chinese Democracy since 1994. You read that right – he’s been working on this album for thirteen years.
