The whirlwind romance that sucked in Lance Armstrong and Kate Hudson has apparently spat them out. Numerous reports say the actress and athlete called it quits this weekend shortly after Armstrong hinted that he might run for office. Contrary to popular belief, friends of Goldie Hawn’s daughter say Armstrong’s commitment to public service was not what drove a wedge between them. Well, another celebrity couple is calling it quits. So who is the couple du jour? According to PEOPLE Magazine, it’s actress Kate Hudson and her husband, Black Crowes frontman Chris Robinson. The couple has been married for nearly six years and has a son Ryder Russell who was born on January 7, 2004—almost four years to the day after they married at the Colorado home of Hudson’s mother, Goldie Hawn and her longtime partner, Kurt Russell.
