Diamond Pet Food has recalled 19 varieties of dog and cat food that have been contaminated with a naturally occurring toxic chemical that comes from fungus on corn and other grains. The chemical, aflatoxin, causes severe liver damage in animals. At least 76 dogs have died nationwide from aflatoxin poisoning. The contaminated food has also been shipped to at least 29 countries.
