Not even halfway through 2012, and there’s already been a lot of celebrities we’ve lost this year.  Here’s some more: May 2012 2 – Patricia Medina – Natural Causes (92) Medina appeared in many films in the ‘40s and ‘50s including Abbott and Costello in the Foreign Legion, Plunder in the Sun, Fortunes of Captain Blood, and Phantom of the Rue Morgue. 2 – Junior Seau – Suicide (43) Seau was an NFL linebacker who played for the San Diego Chargers, the Miami Dolphins, and the New England Patriots.  He was elected to the All-Pro ten times, the Pro Bowl … Continue reading

Usher’s Wedding Cancelled; Thelma Houston Releases “Classics”

Usher’s Wedding Cancelled Well, this certainly does not sound too good. Today, Usher’s publicist Patti Webster announced that the wedding between him and his pregnant fiancée Tameka Foster that was planned for today has been cancelled. I cannot imagine why they would cancel, unless they were just worried about paparazzi and trying to throw them off with the cancellation. Webster went on to say, “No additional information will be given regarding circumstances of the cancellation, but we hope the privacy of this matter will be respected.” Usher and Foster became engaged earlier this year, but Webster would not make a … Continue reading

70s Music – Disco

This summer, VH1 will have its second installment of the “I Love the 70s” show. This new series is called “I Love the 70s – Volume 2” and I will be there to watch ever minute of it! I was born in 1963, so I was between the ages of 7 and 17 during the 70s. I often consider myself a child of the 80s, but I do love everything about the 70s, especially the music.
