Reality Winners Crowned and A&E Reality Pilot Bites the Dust

If you were watching television last night, you might have noticed that both “So You Think You Can Dance” and “Last Comic Standing” crowned new champions in a reality show double-header. First up was “So You Think You Can Dance.” This year, there were two girls and two guys as the four finalists, but there was one interesting twist – neither guy was classically trained. Both Joshua and Twitch are street hip-hop dancers who just truly stepped up to the plate to perform dances like Broadway and the Russian trepak. Celebrity Update: Dog Gets Dumped

A little more than 24 hours after his profanity-laced private phone conversation was posted online, TV’s bounty hunter Duane “Dog” Chapman’s show has been dumped from the air indefinitely. Executives at A&E, the network that broadcasts “Dog The Bounty Hunter,” just announced it has “evaluated the circumstances” surrounding Chapman’s private phone conversation in which the reality star continually used a racial slur and has decided to take the popular show off the network’s schedule for the “foreseeable future.” “We hope that Mr. Chapman continues the healing process that he has begun,” the network said in a public statement released late … Continue reading

Celebrity Relationships and Marriages

Duane and Beth Chapman: For Better or Worse

You may have heard that Duane Chapman, also known as Dog the Bounty Hunter, was arrested recently. It’s quite an ironic story really, and a travesty in my opinion. Accounts indicate that Dog went to Mexico to retrieve Andrew Luster, the Max Factor heir now convicted of being a serial rapist. Luster is currently serving over 120 years in prison for his crimes. The ironic part is that now Chapman may be going to jail for helping bring this man to justice. There is irony throughout this story. Mexico did not arrest or extradite Luster, leading Chapman to retrieve him, … Continue reading
