They said it wouldn’t last… and it didn’t. Such is the fate of most celebrity couples. The latest names to be added to the list of failed Hollywood marriages: Jennifer Murphy (a former contestant on “The Apprentice”) and Dr. William Dorfman (the dentist from “Extreme Makeover”). According to court papers, Murphy filed for divorce earlier this week. The couple has been married for about a year. The 28-year-old former Miss USA contestant cited irreconcilable differences in her petition filed in Los Angeles County Superior Court. I suppose when you own as many homes as Donald Trump you are bound to have a few neighbors who wish you weren’t part of the hood. I saw it. In a strange turn of events I actually caught the on-air brawl between “View” co-hosts Rosie O’Donnell and Elisabeth Hasselbeck, which transpired Wednesday. If you missed the dust-up, basically the crux of the argument was rooted in the fact O’Donnell had unresolved feelings regarding Hasselbeck’s failure to defend her when media outlets suggested that she had called U.S. troops “terrorists” during a previous on-air debate. In what is being dubbed as a preemptive strike, real estate mogul turned reality TV star Donald Trump is not giving network executives at NBC the chance to fire him because—-he quit. Within hours of discovering his low-rated reality show “The Apprentice” was left off NBC’s new prime-time schedule Trump issued a statement that said he intended to “move on from ‘The Apprentice’ to a major new TV venture,” though he declined to elaborate.
