He recently turned down a TV hosting job in the United States… and now we know why. Donny Osmond is heading overseas to pick up where his brother Jimmy left off. The “Puppy Love” singer is reportedly set to star in the British reality TV show “I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!” The entertainer is said to be close to inking a deal with the U.K. show for new episodes, which will air later this year. Faster than you can say Paso Doble, Marie Osmond has moved from ABC’s “Dancing with the Stars” to QVC. Did you see it? Last night QVC unveiled Osmond’s new limited collection “Dancing with the Stars” dolls. The 12-inch porcelain dolls are dressed in the same costumes the 48-year-old singer wore on the show. Osmond is hawking the Boogie Woogie doll dressed in the same WWII-era military-inspired costume she wore when she dedicated her “Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy” jive to her parents. It’s a done deal. Despite the death of their beloved father George Osmond, the Osmond siblings (plus 120 other family members) will appear on “The Oprah Winfrey Show” as planned. Donny Osmond told TV’s “Entertainment Tonight” that after much thought the family decided to go through with plans to appear on the legendary talk show host’s show. Osmond revealed that Winfrey sent a private jet to Provo, Utah where the family had gathered following the news of patriarch George’s death. Is “Dancing with the Stars” cursed? If you are contestant on the show you might think so. This season alone Jane Seymour’s mom died while her nimble daughter was strutting her stuff on live TV.
