Extreme Makeover Host Faces DUI Charges I will admit that every once in a while, when I forget to turn the channel, I am sucked into watching Extreme Makeover – Home Edition. I hate to watch it because frankly, it usually makes me end up crying because I am so happy for the recipient family. Now, host Ty Pennington has his own worries to cry over. He was arrested last Tuesday and charged with misdemeanor drunk driving. His blood alcohol level was .14 – almost double California’s legal limit of .08.
