The First Presidency Christmas Devotional will be held on December 3, 2006. The meeting will begin at 6:00 p.m. MST. The broadcast will be available at your local ward building. This is a wonderful way to begin the Christmas season. The devotional will include music from the Tabernacle Choir and the Orchestra of Temple Square. In years past there have been a variety of guest soloists who have sung with the Tabernacle Choir. The music each year is beautiful, and a reminder of the reason that we celebrate Christmas. If you have recently graduated from high school you may want to attend the CES fireside broadcast on September 10, 2006. The broadcasts will begin at 6:00 pm MDT. These broadcasts are designed for young adults age eighteen through thirty. You are welcome to attend if you are married or single. The firesides address the spiritual needs of those in the early stages of adulthood.
