Thousands are celebrating in the streets of Ohio today after watching Robbie “Kaptain” Knievel make history last night. The son of the late daredevil Evel Knievel successfully jumped over 24 delivery trucks Saturday night. And what made the event all the more poignant is that it took place at the site of one of Robbie’s father’s most famous stunts. The hunky Oscar-winner is taking a break from aiding those in the war-torn Darfur region and giving some Kentucky residents a chance to get glammed up Hollywood style. Well, I only got to watch about 9 hours of Oscar coverage yesterday as my hubby and I decided to take our son to a train show. Pop Culture Potpourri: Actor’s Dogs are Not Killers and Clooney’s Latest Award

Ving Rhames’ dogs didn’t kill anyone. Or so claims a new report that was compiled after an exhaustive five-month investigation. According to the Los Angeles Department of Coroner, 40-year-old Jacob Adams, the man who was found dead on the front lawn of the actor’s L.A. home back in August was not mauled to death by Rhames’ dogs as police first reported.
