Paper Mache Bowl for Trick or Treat Candy

Do you like Paper Mache? It can be slightly messy but it’s fun. It’s simple enough that almost anyone can do it. Just protect your work surfaces, and you won’t have to worry about the mess. For this project, we’ll try something a little different. Start with a large plastic bowl and turn it upside down. Paper Mache strips of paper onto the bowl. Do several layers. Lunch Bag Pumpkin Craft

This project is incredibly simple to make and you can make a bunch of them for just a few dollars. Pick up a package of brown paper lunch bags, and you can make more pumpkins than you know what to do with. You will also need some newspaper or plastic grocery bags, some craft paint, string, construction paper, and glue. *Never leave children unattended with plastic bags. Some people celebrate Halloween, while others don’t much care for it. Some celebrate Harvest Day instead, especially many people of faith. Whichever one you prefer, or even if you celebrate both, October 31 means treats and fun for kids. I’ll try to include projects and ideas that can be used for both. Thirty Days Hath September

You have probably heard the rhyme that helps children remember how many days are in each month. “Thirty days hath September, April, June, and November” (the rest have 31, except February). Well, that makes it very clear that there isn’t much time left! It seems like the minute summer ends and Labor Day passes, the holidays loom before us.
