American Idol I had mentioned before that 17-year-old David Archuleta’s dad is reportedly a true stage parent and the rumors are still swirling. An unnamed source has told Associated Press that now that David has made the final three, his dad is officially banned from the rehearsals. American Idol Boots Another

If you watched “American Idol” last night, you know another fan favorite was booted off. As we saw with Sanjaya, the fans can only carry a singer so far in the competition. However, if you saw Tuesday night’s show, you may not be surprised that dreadlocked Jason Castro was eliminated last night. Yes, it was the blunder heard around the world – well, at least around the U.S. Now it seems that “American Idol” execs feel they must defend Paula Abdul. Executive producer Cecile Frot-Coutaz said yesterday “Why would we get rid of Paula?” She told AP that she loved that everyone was talking about it and that you would think there was no other news on television (well, there isn’t much).
