Yesterday was the official kickoff of the Democratic National Convention in Colorado and the celebs turned out to support the party. Singer Sheryl Crow dedicated the song “Strong Enough” to presidential hopeful Barack Obama at last night’s concert at Red Rocks Amphitheater. Dogs living around a Staten Island, New York elementary school for autistic children must have gotten an earful yesterday when Jennifer Lopez made a surprise visit to perform for some unsuspecting students. “No Nanny!” That’s the word from doubly blessed mom Jennifer Lopez. According to Us Weekly, mommy to 3-month-old twins Max and Emme refuses to get a nanny because she says she wants to be a hands-on parent.
