Pop Culture Potpourri–Alex Trebek Hospitalized and Gwen Stefani to the Rescue

Answer: He suffered a minor heart attack. Question: What happened to “Jeopardy” host Alex Trebek? The 67-year-old longtime game show host gave his family quite a scare Monday night. Trebek reportedly felt pains in his chest and was taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles where doctors discovered he had a minor heart attack. According to Trebek’s rep, the Canadian-born celebrity will remain in the hospital for a couple more days for tests and observation. Did you see this coming? “Jeopardy” ultra-champ Ken Jennings, who became a household fixture in 2004 during his 74-game winning streak is making headlines again. But, this time it’s in contrast to his squeaky clean image.
