The Golden Globe Nominations Are Announced

The award races are off and running! The Hollywood Foreign Press has announced the nomination for the upcoming 65th annual Golden Globes award show. Atonement, which stars Kiera Knightley and James McAvoy, was the big winner – well as far as nominations goes – with seven including Best Picture-Drama, Best Actress-Drama, Best Actor-Drama, Best Supporting Actress, Best Director, Best Screenplay, and Best Original Score. The other films nominated for Best Picture were American Gangster, Eastern Promises, The Great Debaters, Michael Clayton, No Country for Old Men, and There Will Be Blood. In a rare turn of events actress Julia Roberts is making headlines for pursuing photographers instead of the other way around. In video that is making the rounds on the Internet, the Oscar winner is shown wildly tailing two videographers in her Mercedes SUV, flagging them down and basically trying to run them off the road in an effort to give them a piece of her mind. Hollywood’s Newest Additions

It’s another boy for the former Mrs. Lyle Lovett. Julia Roberts welcomed her third child, a boy named Henry Daniel Moder, today in Los Angeles. According to news reports, the youngest Moder weighed in at 8.5 pounds. Little Henry joins his 2-year-old twin siblings Hazel and Phinnaeus. His famous mother should get in quite a workout juggling her brood… then again she does have husband 38-year-old cinematographer Danny Moder to help. Julia Roberts has wrapped up her stint on Broadway and has moved on to a new project—she’s trying to save the environment for her toddler twins… and the rest of us. The Academy Award-winning actress has agreed to be the new spokesperson for Dallas-based Earth Biofuels—an alternative fuel. “It’s very important that we expand our use of clean energy and make a long-term commitment to it. Biodiesel and ethanol are better for the environment and for the air we breathe,” Roberts said in a statement released this week.
