Another day, another celebrity in rehab. This time, it is Velvet Revolver lead singer Scott Weiland. The Velvet Revolver issued a statement today on their web page that said, “Following Velvet Revolver’s performance last night in Los Angeles, lead singer Scott Weiland voluntarily entered a rehab facility.” Now unlike some (Kirsten Dunst took me by surprise), this should not a big surprise to anyone that knows anything about Weiland’s history. Britney’s Released, but Kirsten’s Locked Up

Okay, the title is a bit misleading, young actress Kirsten Dunst isn’t exactly locked up, but then again, she isn’t totally free – she is in rehab. Like so many before her, Kirsten has gone to a treatment facility. Kirsten, 25, has gone to the Cirque Lodge Treatment Center in Utah. Celebrities Having A Bad Day

Friday was not a good day for Oscar-nominated director John Singleton. According to police reports, 39-year-old Singleton killed a female jaywalker who stepped in front of his Lexus SUV as he was driving it down a street in L.A.’s Jefferson Park neighborhood. The 57-year-old victim was taken to a local hospital and pronounced dead shortly after the incident. Singleton, meanwhile, was questioned by police and later released. According to officers on the scene, the director waved down squad cars responding to the accident and identified himself.
