You waited, you wondered, you might have even ventured a guess or two. Well, now the wait is finally over. Oscar-winner Halle Berry just revealed the name of her newborn daughter… Nahla Ariela Aubry. Nahla… say it with me… GNAW-lah. Yes, it’s pronounced very similar to the name of Simba’s gal pal, Nala, in Disney’s popular 1994 animated feature film The Lion King. Nala means, “gift” in Swahili. But Nahla means honeybee in Arabic. The infant was born Sunday morning and is the first child for the actress and her model boyfriend, Gabriel Aubry. By now you’ve probably seen the new Jenny Craig ad campaign starring Queen Latifah. In fact, you may have even seen one of those commercials back to back with a Pizza Hut commercial featuring her voice. Scary, huh? Which voice do you listen to? But I digress. Oprah Winfrey spent part of the weekend spreading her seeds of wisdom to young adults in our nation’s capital. The celebrated talk show host spoke at commencement ceremonies at Howard University Saturday. “My integrity is not for sale, and neither is yours,” Winfrey told more than 30,000 people who attended the graduation ceremonies.
