Oh Baby Baby!

The third time proved to be the charm for pro surfer Laird Hamilton. After being blessed with two daughters, Hamilton’s current wife, volleyball star Gabrielle Reece finally added a boy to the family. Reece and Hamilton welcomed son Brody Jo Hamilton on New Year’s Day in Hawaii. According to the couple’s rep, Brody weighed in at 8 lb., 2 oz., and joins the couple’s first child, 4-year-old sister Reece Viola. Hamilton also has a 12-year-old daughter from a previous marriage. Pregnant and Playing

Pro volleyball player Gabrielle Reece formally announced she was pregnant with her second child on NBC’s “Today” show. Not in an interview with Matt Lauer, but rather, at the same time she was telling viewers that she would be appearing on the show as a regular correspondent offering fitness tips for expectant mothers… and, oh, by the way, she made sure to stress that she would be doing so up until her January due date. More Pregnant Hollywood Stars

Their beach parties are going to be a bit larger soon. Pro beach volleyball player Gabrielle Reece and her husband, pro surfing champ Laird Hamilton, are expecting their second child. Reece made the announcement Friday morning on NBC’s “Today” show. It was a fitting place to tell the world that she’s due to give birth in January since the morning show just recruited her to be a correspondent.
