Anatomy of “The Bo-mance”

You’ve heard of a Hollywood romance. You may even be familiar with the Hollywood sho-mance (when reality TV show stars hook up during their respective shows). Now get ready to add another “ance” to the list—the “Bo-mance.” It is loosely defined as two male stars who share a close friendship (or at least are photographed together so frequently as to raise questions about the true nature of their relationship). Recently, it’s the term of choice used to describe Lance Armstrong and Matthew McConaughey’s relationship. Now, the athlete and the actor are addressing rumors that they’re anything more than just pals. … Continue reading

Tour de Women

Here’s the thing with seven-time Tour de France champ Lance Armstrong—I think he is good looking, athletic, and his will to survive after being diagnosed with cancer is simply inspirational. However, I have never been able to get over his decision to divorce his wife and the mother of his three young children, Kristin. When word got out that Cook not only bedded the teen, but also wooed her with extravagant gifts and money, Brinkley and her children fled their Hampton’s estate … Continue reading

Sheryl Crow Says She Still Loves Lance Armstrong

I have always thought Lance Armstrong was handsome. Even before he won his record breaking seven-straight Tour de France titles. Even before he divorced his wife Kristin. Even before he started dating Sheryl Crow. Actually, it wasn’t until he decided to break off his engagement with Crow that I began to think my argument that his stunning good looks overshadowed his actions was not going to stand up to my friend’s (a die hard Crow fan) rants that Armstrong was a cad. I don’t think he is a cad. But, I did question why he and Crow had decided to … Continue reading
