Reality Winners Crowned and A&E Reality Pilot Bites the Dust

If you were watching television last night, you might have noticed that both “So You Think You Can Dance” and “Last Comic Standing” crowned new champions in a reality show double-header. First up was “So You Think You Can Dance.” This year, there were two girls and two guys as the four finalists, but there was one interesting twist – neither guy was classically trained. Both Joshua and Twitch are street hip-hop dancers who just truly stepped up to the plate to perform dances like Broadway and the Russian trepak. Television News: Two Surprising Finales

This week marked the end of two fairly popular reality shows – Big Brother and Last Comic Standing. I devotedly watched each and was a bit surprised at the final outcomes. If you had been watching Big Brother 8, you know the Donatos. If you have not, let me tell you about them. This year’s big twist (other than Eric being America’s Player and having to vote according to how we wanted) was to reunite three people in the house with three people with which they had unfinished business. This Week in Television – June 12, 2007

Top Chef Returns I will be the first to admit that I love most reality shows. Whether it is something mainstream like “American Idol” or something a little more off beat like “Little People Big World,” I just love watching reality shows.
