Kentucky Fried Chicken Courting Celebrities– Finger Lickin’ Good Times for ALL

What is it about fast food restaurants that propel them to constantly seek out celebrity support? Oh yeah, money. I suppose when the folks at Kentucky Fried Chicken offered to throw an all-you-can-eat housewarming party for “Hills” star Lauren Conrad, who recently purchased a new home, they did the math and discovered it would be cheaper to provide food for a house full of girls who don’t eat than pay for a 30-second TV commercial. I’m not kidding. About the free food anyway. In an open letter to the blonde reality TV star the chicken chain said they wanted to … Continue reading

Heidi Single and Julianne Sings!

Rumors are circulating that Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt of “The Hills” are no longer a couple. Heidi appeared at the wrap up party for the show Monday night without two important things – her ring and her fiancé! Fans hollered “Heidi, where’s the ring?” and “Heidi, where’s Spencer?” but she just flashed a ringless finger at the photographers. One fan yelled “You’re better off without him!” But, fans won’t know for sure if she is indeed without him until the season four of the show. But, maybe costar Elodie Otto has give us a hint. She told People magazine … Continue reading

At the end of the first season of The Hills, Lauren gave up an internship in Paris to spend the summer living with Jason … Continue reading

Examining Reality Romances: The Girls of MTV’s The Hills

But Comcast had a deal that made it worth our while so that’s how we came to have MTV and get hooked on a show called Laguna Beach: The Real O.C. It followed a group of “wealthy, attractive teenagers” during their senior year of high school. One of the stars from that show, Lauren Conrad, ended up getting a spin-off deal to star in a new show, The Hills. It follows her and her friends –Heidi, Whitney, and Audrina— living in Los Angeles … Continue reading
