Sorry God, I’m Just Too Busy

I can’t be the only one who feels this way from time to time? Sometimes I feel in somewhat of a robotic mode trying to get this or that accomplished and there just doesn’t seem to be enough time in the day. Sadly the things that seem to be of most importance are often put on hold: family being a big one, but most importantly God, the giver of family, life, and even our abilities. Harvest Time

I’m not talking about the season of harvest that comes each year. I’m talking about a harvest that is year round. It’s a harvest of souls in need of the Savior. Unfortunately, this harvest is in grave need of workers! “But when He saw the multitudes, He was moved with compassion for them, because they were weary and scattered, like sheep having no shepherd. Then He said to His disciples, ‘The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Freedom in Christ

Turning your life over to Christ means coming to the realization that you can’t save yourself; you need a Savior. It also means trusting God knows what’s best for your life and believing He’ll guide you in righteousness. One reason I think many are reluctant to abandon their old sinful lives is because the unknown can be scary. Putting our trust in God is an act of faith.
