The Epitome Of Family Fun

There’s a place in New York that is like no other. It’s a place where floors tilted at an 18-degree angle cause fits of laughter instead of disoriented moans. Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood Comes To The Big Easy

It’s been more than four years since the indelible Fred Rogers died of stomach cancer, but the legacy of the soft-spoken “neighbor” lives on in reruns of his popular PBS show, and now in a museum exhibit that is expected to draw thousands to New Orleans. The Louisiana Children’s Museum is about to get a much-needed shot in the arm thanks to the new Rogers inspired exhibit. A Weekend In Indianapolis

In a few weeks we will pack up the family car and head to Indianapolis for a friend’s wedding. I’ve been to the area several times, but never with a toddler, so this trip should be interesting. I’ve been doing research on the city’s family-friendly attractions, and if all goes according to plan we will roll into Indianapolis with enough time to visit a few of them before the wedding festivities get underway. Visiting the Madison Children’s Museum

Our family just returned from a trip to Madison, Wisconsin. It was the place I called home for four years while I attended UW-Madison. In the (gasp) decade (more like decade-and-a-half) that has passed since I graduated, I have returned to the city on several occasions.
