I am sad to say that Maksim Chmerkovskiy will not be a regular dancer on the upcoming season of “Dancing with the Stars.” His reps told People magazine that the gorgeous dancer would be taking time off, that he “needs a break.” The 28-year-old hoofer had previously been partnered with Laila Ali (who just finished up her first season on “American Gladiators”) and Spice Girl Mel B. Looks like there’s good news for you Cheryl Burke fans who paid to see the two-time “Dancing with the Stars” champ bust a move in person. Doctors have cleared the flexible 23-year-old to rejoin her pals on the current “Dancing with the Stars” national tour. Earlier this week Burke contracted a mystery illness and was forced to sit out two shows—-including opening night in Seattle, and another performance in Sacramento.
