“Dancing with the Stars” Curse—Another Death

Is “Dancing with the Stars” cursed? If you are contestant on the show you might think so. This season alone Jane Seymour’s mom died while her nimble daughter was strutting her stuff on live TV. Then, contestant Marie Osmond collapsed in front of millions of viewers following her dance number. And just last week Seymour was rushed from the “Dancing” set to the hospital after a bout of food poisoning. Now, more bad luck has befallen Osmond-—her 90-year-old father George Osmond died this morning. Marie’s Thud Heard Round the World

Ouch! That’s gotta hurt. No. I’m not referring to the painful drop “Dancing with the Stars” contestant Marie Osmond took after her samba routine. I’m referring to the scores the judges flashed when the singer came to. Osmond got 21 out of 30 possible points for her show-stopping samba. Actually, it was what occurred after her samba that stopped the show. Look Who’s Dancing Now—Who Will You Be Rooting For?

Here it is. The most highly anticipated announcement of the fall television season… at least in my home. The list of stars who will be busting a move on the next season of ABC’s “Dancing with the Stars” has just been announced.
