I am going all the way back to 1959 this time. It’s okay, I don’t personally remember it either. But, it is still fun to see how much our society and culture has changed since then! In sports news, Yankee manager Casey Stengel was worried about a batting slump. As a team, they were only batting .190 – that includes baseball legend Mickey Mantle! Courtney’s Friendly Advice and Brit May Be on the Move Soon

Well, you know you must have hit rock bottom when Courtney Love, often a train wreck herself, offers you advice. Courtney has come out publicly to urge Britney Spears to get the help she needs. Courtney said, “I know exactly what’s going on, having been there. If she doesn’t get help something very, very bad is gonna happen.” Courtney should know. Celebrities and Sleeping Pills – Part Two

Earlier I had written about celebrities that had tried to take their life with sleeping pills. Fortunately, they were saved and many went on to live long lives. However, there are a sad few who tried to kill themselves with sleeping pills and succeeded.
