Celebrities Unite To Help Find Missing Girl

By now I’m sure you have heard the story of 4-year-old Madeleine McCann. She is the British girl who was allegedly kidnapped from her family’s vacation villa in Portugal on May 3rd. News of her disappearance made international headlines and inspired many celebrities to contribute to her reward fund. Currently, the Madeleine McCann reward fund (given to the person or persons who provide information that helps assist in the child’s safe return) has exceeded $5 million. Silver Alert

You’ve probably heard of Amber Alerts — a way of spreading the message far and wide about missing and/or abducted children. Over the last few years, individual states have been working on a similar Silver Alert program. The Silver Alert program was created to help quickly locate missing persons who suffer from dementia or other cognitive impairment. The idea is very similar to the Amber Alert: get information out quickly to local law enforcement, radio stations, television stations, and more. Disneyland and Special Needs Families

My family just returned from our annual trip to California. We spent time at the beach, Hollywood, Los Angeles, and one day in the world of Mickey Mouse. There’s something about Disneyland that has a real hold on me. I absolutely adore it. Some of my favorite rides include the Indiana Jones ride, Pirates of the Caribbean, Splash Mountain, and Space Mountain.
