IT’S A BOY “Today” show co-host Matt Lauer and wife Annette welcomed their third child, a son to the family just after 9:30 a.m. Tuesday… and less than 24 hours later Lauer was back at work—-chatting it up on the set of the popular NBC morning show (wow, and I complained when my husband went back to work three days after the birth of our daughter). I’m sure by now most of you know that Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey are officially divorced. Following the announcement that the two were no longer legally tied to each other, speculation grew about how each would react at the upcoming Teen Choice Awards—the first public engagement the couple would appear at post divorce. It’s Official: The “Newlyweds” Are Now Newly-Divorced

Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey are now officially divorced. Court papers filed Friday state that the pop stars “are restored to the status of single, unmarried persons.” In addition, Jessica’s name is restored to Jessica Simpson (from Jessica Simpson Lachey). So there it is… another Hollywood union bites the dust.
