Forbes is at it again – this time, uncovering the most overpaid movie stars. Now, before you start, let me state that they did it very scientifically. They looked at the star’s last three films that opened before January 1 (to give it time to be released on DVD). They discounted animated films, supporting roles, and any star that consistently earned less than $5 million per movie. To calculate the gross income for every dollar paid, those at Forbes took half of the worldwide box office per movie, then added the first three months of DVD revenues. Angelina Jolie and the two newest members of the diverse Jolie-Pitt crew are finally home. Well, one of them anyway. Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline sped off with their mother from their temporary digs at the French Riviera hospital where they were born a week ago today. I realize that Nicole Kidman has Amazon woman height, but I can’t get over how thin she looked at six months pregnant. I sense a Hollywood hook up in the making. They were born on the same day, and who knows, in the future we might see them walking down the red carpet together. Although rumors of divorce and Madonna seeing NY Yankee slugger Alex Rodriguez have been swirling, the whole family – Madonna, Guy, and children Lourdes, Rocco, and David – were seen at a Kabbalah service on July 5th at New York City’s Kabbalah Centre in Midtown Manhattan. Madonna showed up with wet hair and large black studded sunglasses. She sat apart from Guy during the service, but don’t read much into that. So much for the much-hyped Hollywood divorce. It appears mega movie star Tom Cruise and mega movie mogul Sumner Redstone have decided to kiss and make up. You’ll recall the two power brokers parted ways in 2006 after 14 years together.
