She may be on a recently imposed $1,500 a week allowance, but that didn’t stop Britney Spears from dropping some serious cash to pay for her soon-to-be born niece or nephew’s new nursery. The reforming pop star reportedly spent more than $30,000 to have professional designers create an ocean-themed pad for her 16-year-old sister Jamie Lynn’s unborn baby. Her publicist, Catherine Olim, has finally confirmed it – Nicole Kidman is pregnant! Of course, the brief statement included that “the couple are thrilled.” Rumors were circulating that she was indeed pregnant (but haven’t they been since before she and Keith Urban even married?) when it was reported that she dropped out of the World War II drama The Reader earlier this month. Let’s face it; if actress Naomi Watts didn’t want people to know she was pregnant she should have worn Jennifer Lopez’s dress to the Oscars. Mrs. Marc Anthony’s Oscar gown looked a lot more maternity-like than Watts’s did. Just to set the record straight–Lopez is not pregnant, but Watts is. But, that’s only half the story.
