Patrick Swayze Hospitalized and Lisa Bonet Gives Birth

Actor Patrick Swayze has been hospitalized after he was diagnosed with pneumonia. This caused Swayze to miss the Television Critics Association (TCA) press event for his new show “The Beast,” which premieres on A&E January 15th. A&E President Abbe Raven spoke at the event, saying “As we arrive here this morning we have some news. Patrick Swayze has checked himself into the hospital. However, he asked us specifically to go forward with today’s panel. He is almost a dad himself, but Clay Aiken is blogging about a recent UNICEF trip he took to Somalia and Kenya. He talks about how the violence in each country has left thousands of children homeless. Even as things are looking better, many children have not returned to school. Fresh off her marriage to Cash Warren, Jessica Alba has given birth to a baby girl. The baby is named Honor Marie Warren and she was born June 7th. This is the first child for the couple who met while working on the set of Fantastic Four. Alba starred in the movie while Warren was a director’s assistant. The couple became engaged in December and married on May 19th in a low-key courthouse ceremony in Beverly Hills. As far as I can tell, Alba has the right idea about being a mom. Cancer-stricken actor Patrick Swayze is finally setting the record on his health. According to the “Ghost” star, fans shouldn’t believe what they read in tabloids. Swayze says he is responding well to treatment for pancreatic cancer and “feels great.” The actor issued a public statement to PEOPLE magazine yesterday saying that he continues to live a full and busy life despite being diagnosed with the insidious disease. “We can cure Patrick Swayze.” Or so claims three doctors who want to give the actor a new lease on life with revolutionary new cancer treatments. The “Ghost” star was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer earlier this year and since then he has been keeping a low profile.
