Each year, we lose so many famous people. Here are a few that died in 2009: January 1 – Jett Travolta (16) Although not a celebrity himself, Jett was the son of John Travolta and Kelly Preston, who tragically died on the first day of the New Year while vacationing with his parents in The Bahamas. The death certificate listed cause of death as a seizure. January 13 – Patrick McGoohan (80) McGoohan was the star of ‘60s shows “Danger Man” and “The Prisoner.” He also starred as Edward Longshanks in Braveheart. He died after a brief illness.
