Neil Aspinall, a friend and long time business associate of The Beatles, has died at the age of 66. The statement of his death was released by Apple Corps Ltd., Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, and the surviving widows of John Lennon and George Harrison. Aspinall just stepped down last year as the chief executive of Apple Corps, which oversees the commercial interests of The Beatles. Jane Arrested, McCartney Divorce Settled and Cancer for Another Beloved Star?

By Jane, I mean of course, The Punisher’s Thomas Jane. He joins the list of many celebrities who have been pulled over for drinking and driving. Jane, who is married to Medium’s Patricia Arquette, was pulled over for speeding in Kern County, California, then charged with DUI because his blood alcohol level was above the .08 percent. For all of you Starbucks fans who enjoy listening to tunes while you sip your super duper triple skim lattes-—good news. The company known for its coffee is expanding its’ empire to include a record label and it has already signed a major name. Paul McCartney Files for Divorce

I opened CNN today to see that Paul McCartney had officially filed for divorce from his second wife, Heather Mills McCarthy. The reason was “unreasonable behavior.” I had no idea you could file under that – maybe it is just in British courts. Heather’s spokesperson has said she intends to counter file in both England and the United States. Paul’s first wife, long time love and band mate, photographer Linda Eastman McCartney, died of breast cancer in 1998. The very devoted couple had been married for almost 30 years.
