Wanda Sykes Comes Out of the Closet

Comedian Wanda Sykes, who currently appears in the sitcom “The New Adventures of the Old Christine,” has admitted that she is gay in response to California’s Proposition 8 being passed. If you don’t know, Proposition 8 amended the California state constitution to prohibit same-sex couples from marrying. If you predicted that John Mayer and Jennifer Aniston’s romance would fizzle out after four months then buy yourself a lottery ticket because you were exactly right. Ellen to Use New Emmy as Wedding Cake Topper

She was joking… about the cake topper… not about the wedding. Ellen DeGeneres has another reason to celebrate today. In addition to being “over the moon” about her upcoming nuptials to partner Portia de Rossi, the actress walked away with her fourth trophy as outstanding talk-show host, at last night’s 35th annual Daytime Emmy Awards.
